Donegal influencer Eric Roberts has taken his first major step into television presenting.
The TikTok star has landed a role on Ireland AM as a temporary replacement for roving weatherman Deric Hartigan.
Hartigan has taken on a new role on the Virgin Media station’s Six O’Clock Show.
Roberts’ career has gone from strength to strength this year after he quit his job as a special needs assistant last year to pursue a full-time career in the media.
He said he is really looking forward to his chance on Ireland AM.
“I’m excited for the challenge this week and enjoying working with the Ireland am team and hope I can make Deric proud this week and next week,’ he told Goss.ie.
‘I’m only covering for these two weeks but I’m excited about more opportunities with Ireland AM in the future.’
