A man who died while scuba diving off the Donegal coast on Monday afternoon was a Belgian national.
The man, who was in his 50s, had been diving with a local group when the tragedy happened.
An experienced diver, he was originally from Antwerp.
The group had been scuba diving around 30km off Tory Island.
The man was taken from the water by Malin Coastguard and taken to Letterkenny University Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A file on the incident is now being prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
