The body of a missing 12-year-old boy has been recovered at the Cliffs of Moher.
Members of the Irish Coast Guard had been searching the area since he went missing on Tuesday, when the young boy became separated from his family as they visited the Cliffs from overseas.
It’s understood that the occupants of a boat passing by in the area spotted something in the water this morning, and immediately raised the alarm so that rescue workers could recover his remains.
Gardaí say that a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
