This week the Irish Times asked the normally straight-talking reporter some not so straight forward questions.
One of them was which was his favourite place in Ireland?
David, who describes his life as “a work in progress”, revealed that Donegal is home to his favourite spot.
“I’ll opt for the beach at Dunfanaghy in Co Donegal. When it’s not raining,” he said.
David didn’t say which beach in Dunfanaghy but we all know that he could have chosen any of Donegal’s wonderful beaches.
