Donegal County Council has announced the temporary closure of three roads in the Carrickmaquigley and Culineen areas of Redcastle to facilitate essential road maintenance works.
The roads affected are L-6251, L-1441, and L-1411-4, commonly known as the Redcastle to Gleneely Road.
The closure will be in effect from 8am on Monday, August 5th, 2024, to 6pm on Friday, August 16th, 2024.
The road section to be closed extends from the junction with the R238 at Redcastle Village to the junction with the L-6191 at Carrickmaquigley.
Local access will be maintained throughout the maintenance period. Motorists are advised to use the R238 to Moville as an alternative route.
