Gardaí are appealing for information following an attempted break-in to a van in the Dromore area of Killygordon.

The incident occurred between 9pm on Tuesday, July 23rd, and 6am on Wednesday, July 24th. A van had been parked at the owner’s house overnight and when he went to the van early in the morning he discovered the locking mechanism had been tampered with and damaged, although no entry was gained to the vehicle.

Gardaí are urging anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the specified times to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074-9167100.
