The latest round of political polls shows that a third Fine Gael/Fianna Fail coalition Government in some format is the most likely outcome of the next General Election.
Today’s Ireland Thinks/Sunday Independent poll has solidified Fine Gael as the most popular party in the state at 24% support.
Fianna Fail remain in second at 20%, with Sinn Fein gaining slightly, up to 19%.
Independent candidates meanwhile still command 18% popularity, making a Fine Gael/Fianna Fail/Independents coalition Government the most likely outcome at the next election.
