Do you want to take the next step in your career or gain a third-level qualification? Atlantic Technological University Donegal can help you. Currently, more than 100 part-time, online, or blended courses are open for application for a September 2024 start.  ATU Donegal offers students fully accredited qualifications in a flexible learning environment.

The part-time courses offered by ATU Donegal are designed in collaboration with industry and with many years of experience in flexible learning, they have the knowledge and expertise amongst their academic and support staff to ensure their graduates succeed, in whatever path they choose.

Helen Lafferty, a graduate of the online MA in Governance & IT in Financial Services says: “The MA in Governance gave me a unique opportunity to gain industry-specific insight and experience, in a supportive learning environment. Being taught by lecturers who have years of experience working in international financial services companies means that everything learned in the classroom is practical and applicable in the workplace.”

Flexible learning allows you to upskill or retrain while also working full-time. It will give you the flexibility to invest in yourself and your career while also balancing life commitments, such as family, work, or caring responsibilities.

“The fact that the MA in UX Design and Applied Innovation is online meant that I had the flexibility I needed. I could study from home, I could study from work, I could study from anywhere really” says Marie Maguire, a graduate of the online MA in UX Design and Applied Innovation.

If online learning doesn’t suit you, there are part-time on-campus options, as well as blended learning – where you take some lectures online and some on campus. As a student, you will have the opportunity to visit the ATU Donegal campus for workshops, guest lectures, lab sessions or to avail of the campus facilities such as library services and study zones.

Sarah Brown, who studied part-time on-campus at ATU Donegal says: “Through this course, I gained a summary of the basic practical and theoretical skills associated with both dessert and hot kitchen work. We also covered basic computer skills, writing for academic work and presentation skills. These have all helped massively as I have progressed further in my academic learning. Taking a part-time course made my career transition less overwhelming and made working full-time alongside the course entirely feasible.’ Applicants to the Certificate of Culinary Skills can avail of free or 90% funded fees through Springboard+.

The application deadline date for all part-time and online courses at ATU Donegal with a September 2024 start is Friday 16th August 2024. For further information, visit Online, Flexible & Professional Development at ATU Donegal
