The annual Finn Valley Vintage Tractor Run and Static Show will take place this weekend.

The event will again be held at the Red Hughs’ GAA grounds on Sunday at Monellan, Crossroads, Killygordon (F93YR89) with all monies raised going to local charities.

Registration begins at 12 noon (€20 per tractor) followed by an auction at 2pm and the tractor run will leave at 2:30pm. A large number of items have been kindly donated for the auction including turf, firewood and engine oil.

There will also be children’s sports, entertainment and a ‘pedal power’ tractor run for the little ones!

A large number of fine examples of vintage farm machinery and cars will be on display with entrants expected to travel from all over the North West.

Organised by the Finn Valley Vintage Club, the rally has raised tens of thousands of euro for local charities over the last two decades. However, a smaller event has been held in recent years.

According to the organisers, the idea of the day is to promote agricultural, vintage and other items of heritage and also provide a venue suitable for the enthusiast to show items of yesteryear.

For further information and updates, keep an eye on the Finn Valley Vintage Club Facebook page or call 0872237699.
