Man arrested for making death threats against Taoiseach

A man has been arrested after he made online death threats towards an Taoiseach, Simon Harris.

The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested in County Galway this morning.

It’s understood that the man made a number of violent threats against Simon Harris and is family via Instagram, according to the Irish Independent.

This arrest follows a similar arrest made earlier this week, when a man in his 50s was arrested following a separate bomb threat made against the Taoiseach’s home.
