Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault near the Cricket Club in St. Johnston.
On Friday 9th of August, at approx. 10pm, a young person was with his friends when he was approached by two males and a female. He was assaulted by the two males.
He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Following the incident, gardaí issued this appeal: “We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in that area between 9.30pm and 10.15pm and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anybody witnessed the incident or if they observed the three people in question or their mode of transport, we ask them to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
