Milford schoolgirl to be a ‘superhairo’ with generous hair donation

Kind-hearted Milford girl Alisha Rodgers getting ready to donate her long locks to children in need this September.

Alisha, who hasn’t had a big haircut since 2020, adores her long dark tresses. The seven-year-old has decided to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust so it can be turned into a hairpiece for a child who has lost their hair through illness.

Alisha Rodgers’ beautiful hair will be transformed into a wig by the Little Princess Trust

The big day for Alisha’s haircut is set for September 20th, when the team at Head Rush Mountain Top will do the honours.

Along with donating her hair, Alisha is fundraising to gather money to support the Little Princess Trust’s vital work. In just a few days, she has already reached an impressive €600!

Every donation, no matter how small, will help the charity continue making wigs and funding research into better treatments for childhood illnesses.

“Alisha’s heart is as big as her smile,” says her mother, Sarah Rodgers. “She’s determined to make a difference.”
