Wetsuits stolen during south Donegal break-in

A number of wetsuits were stolen during a burglary near Rossnowlagh Beach at the weekend. 

The incident occurred at a premises in the carpark sometime between midnight and 9am on Sunday morning. A number of wetsuits and ear defenders were stolen from the premises.

Entry was gained after a padlock was broken on a storage unit. The wetsuits were recovered in Sligo later that day after they had been abandoned. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have been in the area of Rossnowlagh carpark or within the general area of Rossnowlagh Beach with a dash cam between Saturday night and Sunday morning past to make contact with Gardaí,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. 

If anybody observed any suspicious vehicles, in particular,vans, in the area on that date, please make Gardaí aware. Any relevant information may be passed to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530. The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
