Tata Consultancy Services has collaborated with Life Start Services in Donegal on a back-to-school initiative supporting families in need as the new school year approaches.

TCS staff at the Global Delivery Centre in Letterkenny donated essential school items such as stationery, school bags and lunch boxes, to ensure children are equipped for success in the new school year.

The delivery of these much-needed school supplies to families’ homes has already begun, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Families have expressed their gratitude and joy, with many parents noting that these items will greatly ease the financial pressure of preparing their children for the school year.

Christopher Lynch, Senior Leader and Delivery Head at TCS Letterkenny GDC said, “This initiative reflects our commitment to giving back to the community and ensuring that every child has an equal opportunity to excel in their academic pursuits. By equipping students with essentials, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families during this time of year. Thank you to our staff in Letterkenny Global Delivery Centre for their heartfelt contributions”.

Mary Walker Callaghan, Regional Manager at Lifestart Services CLG. Donegal said, “For many families, back-to-school time can be incredibly stressful financially. This generous donation from TCS and their employees means that children can start the year equipped and ready to learn, without the worry of missing out.”
