The Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey has praised emergency services for their quick response to an incident yesterday evening.
All guests were safely evacuated for a short while on Sunday evening as emergency services attended a “minor situation”.
While there was a brief period of smoke, the hotel confirmed that there was no fire and no injuries were reported.
The hotel’s staff worked in cooperation with the emergency responders as a number of fire units and an ambulance attended the incident at the back section of the hotel.
A statement from the Villa Rose team said: “Thank you to the emergency services who attended a minor situation at the hotel earlier this evening. Thankfully there was smoke without fire and no one was hurt.”
