The Letterkenny Dyslexia Association Workshop returns after its summer break on Monday, September 9th.

The workshop offers specialist, individual tuition in small groups to primary school children with dyslexia.

The children are supported in the development of their reading, spelling and writing skills, using a multisensory approach.

The workshop focuses on developing confidence in the young people attending as well as support and advice for the pupils and their families.

The tutors are qualified primary school teachers who have undertaken additional training in teaching methods best suited to students with dyslexia.

The classes take place on Monday evenings during school term between 6.15pm and 8.00pm in ATU Letterkenny.

There are limited places still available, so if you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact Odhrán on 0862243752 for further information.

Any primary school teachers interested in teaching at the workshop are encouraged to email their CV to: letterkennydyslexia@gmail.com
