Tobin’s Service Station in Letterkenny has a number of vacancies to fill.
The busy garage based at the Port Road in Letterkenny seeks shops assistants/ice cream parlour assistants (both full-time and part-time) and also a part-time forecourt attendant.
Shop assistant roles:
For part time shop position you would need to be local based, would not suit candidate away for college elsewhere as need more flexibility than Sat/Sun.
Duties will include receiving payments from customers and forecourt staff.
Flexibility is essential as working hours will include evenings and weekends. You will also be required to stock shelves and maintain a clean and tidy environment in the store.
Opening hours:
Mon-Fri 7.30 am – 9 pm
Sat 8 am – 9 pm
Sun 9 am – 9 pm
Applicants must be reliable with a mature attitude and demonstrate:

- Enjoy working as part of a high performance team
- An ability to learn quickly
- An ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
- A flexible attitude to working hours.
Part- Time Forecourt Attendant:
Duties include greeting customers, serving fuel, maintaining a clean and tidy forecourt and receiving and putting away orders among other tasks.
NOTE: This position would ideally suit a more mature person who is sociable and likes dealing with the public.
Normal working hours would be 10am to 5 pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with only minimum occasional requirement to work outside this (sickness cover/holiday)
