Rising music star and Donegal native George Houston will be accompanying a music legend on an upcoming US tour.
The Buncrana man has been announced as the support for Paul Weller on his upcoming North American tour.
He earned the opportunity after impressing crowds while also supporting Weller at some of his recent gigs in Ireland – now leading to the chance to tour the US and Canada for the rising 23-year-old sensation.
George took to social media after the announcement was made saying that he “couldn’t wait to get going.”
“On the road again, all the way to the states!!!!!,” George posted on X. “Can’t wait to get going to support Paul Weller for his North American tour!!”
It follows a breakout 2023 for the Inishowen musician, with George releasing his third album, Vehicular Suicide, as well as embarking on a tour of his own across Ireland.
