Former Donegal Ladies GAA star Shannon McGroddy may have finally met her match.
She announced her engagement this weekend to fiancé James Lee McBride – her childhood sweetheart.
Shannon had featured in Donegal’s intercounty setup for a number of years, as well as featuring for an ever-dominant Termon club side.
However, she hung up her boots this year to focus on her career as a primary school teacher, as well as building her forever home with partner James who himself has featured as a senior GAA player for Downings.
A huge congrats to the happy couple!
