Update: Motorcyclist seriously injured after Inver crash

Gardaí say that a male motorcyclist was seriously injured following a crash in the Inver area earlier today.

The accident took place at approcimately 11:30am this morning, on the N56 near Inver.

A male motorcyclist aged in his thirties was seriously injured, after a collision between his bike and two cars.

However his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí say that no further injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

The N56 road at Inver has now reopened to the public.

Gardaí say their investigations into the collision are ongoing.
