Ballyare jockey Patrick McGettigan secured a fantastic win at the Curragh yesterday.
McGettigan looks set to be Donegal’s next horse racing star, having made noise on the Irish horse and pony racing scene with his results.
But still, a win at one of Ireland’s most famous courses is sure to only accelerate his career further.
McGettigan took the 6/1 shot King Thistle to the win in the 4pm race at the famous Kildare racecourse, securing victory for trainer Johnny Murtagh.
