Gardaí are investigating the burglary of a shed in Letterkenny in recent days.

A wooden shed at a house at Glencar Irish (beside Dr. Mc Ginley Rd.) was broken into sometime between 9pm on Saturday the 31st of August and 7pm on Monday the 2nd of September.

The lock on the shed was forced open and a number of items were stolen. Among the items taken were a black road bike with a blue stripe, as well as various hand tools and power tools.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s help as the investigation continues.

A spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. If anybody can assist with relevant information they can contact the Garda Station directly or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
