Donegal still has the lowest wages in the country.

Figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show the average weekly wage in Donegal is €567.04 – the lowest median weekly earnings.

The figure is 23% lower than the national average of €699.28.

Dublin still had the highest weekly earnings last year at €793.71, a yearly increase of 4.8% on the 2022 figure.
