Witnesses are being urged to come forward following a weekend assault in Buncrana.
A man is reported to have been assaulted by a number of people at Market Square, Buncrana in the early hours of Sunday the 1st of September (between 1.45am and 2.45am).
The victim received medical treatment for his injuries, which gardaí described as non-life-threatening.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the incident to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. If anybody was in the area with a dash cam between those times we also would like to hear from them. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
