Three young people have been identified in connection with two separate incidents of criminal damage in Donegal in August.
Gardaí had issued public appeals after the incidents in both Milford and Convoy.
The first involved criminal damage at a house in the area of Loughfern Heights, Milford on Friday the 23rd of August. A number of youths allegedly approached the house and kicked the front door, causing damage to it. Gardaí confirmed today that one youth has been identified in relation to the incident.
The second incident involved two hooded youths seen spraying graffiti over an outbuilding of a business premises at Main Street, Convoy in the early hours of Tuesday the 20th of August. The suspects have since been identified.
Gardaí have thanked the public for helping with both investigations.
Garda Sergeant Charlene Anderson said: “All youths concerned will now be dealt with under the J-Lo (Juvenile Liaison Officer) Scheme. We would like to thank the public for any assistance given.”
