Staff at the Donegal Local Development Company are mourning the sad passing of a cherished colleague, Susan Kierce Marsh.
Mrs Kierce Marsh, late of Banner House, Gortree, Newtowncunningham, passed away peacefully on Monday following an illness bravely borne.
A beloved wife and mother, she was deeply passionate about her work in the community and education.
Her colleagues at DLDC have shared their profound sadness at the loss of a dear friend.
“All who knew Susan will greatly miss her kindness, dedication, and sense of humour. Susan was a cherished friend and valued team member for 23 years, and we will hold on tightly to the many wonderful, lasting memories she left behind,” they said.
DLDC’s offices will be closed to the public on Thursday as a mark of respect.
Susan is survived by her loving family, husband Adrian and her sons Caoimhín, Seán, and Daithí.
Susan was predeceased by her father Oliver, brother Jason and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Tommy and Noreen.

Susan will be reposing at her late residence from 4pm to 10pm, Tuesday, 3rd September, and Wednesday, 4th September, from 12noon to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.Funeral cortege leaving her late residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am requiem mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
