Para cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy and pilot Linda Kelly sped to a silver medal finish in the Women’s B Road Race in the Paralympic Games.

The Irish duo completed the gruelling 99.4km race in 2:37:29 this afternoon.

This is Dunlevy’s third medal in the 2024 games, and her eighth Paralympic medal overall.

Dunlevy struck gold in the Women’s B Individual Time Trial on Wednesday, adding to her silver medal in the Women’s B 3000m Individual Pursuit.

Crawley-born Dunlevy has close Donegal links through her father, John, who is from Mountcharles.

Britain’s Sophie Unwin and pilot Jenny Holl were in first place at a time of 2:37:26 in this afternoon’s race in Clichy-sous-bois.
