The price of housing in Donegal has surged dramatically in the last year.
A new study in today’s Sunday Independent shows that while house prices nationally are expected to be up 10% by the end of the year, increases in Donegal are over twice the national rate currently.
The largest increase in Donegal has been in the average price of a 2-bed apartment, which has gone up 20.9% in the last 12 months to €131,000.
Meanwhile the cost to buy a 3-bed semi has risen by 16.3% to €199,667, and the price of a 4-bed semi has surged by 19% to €242,000.
