Two Councillors are calling on Donegal County Council to provide new bus shelters in Drumkeen.

Both Cllr Martin Scanlon and Cllr Dakota NicMheanman made the call ahead of next week’s monthly meeting of the Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District (MD).

Cllr Scanlon pointed out that, currently, there is no shelter for those waiting for the bus in Drumkeen village who are travelling in the Ballybofey direction.

Meanwhile, Cllr NicMheanman said an additional shelter is needed opposite the old N13 Service Station at Callan.

“Kids are getting soaked while waiting here on a bus,” she said.
