Department assisting family of Donegal man found dead in Portugal

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the family of a Donegal man found dead in Portugal.

The 29-year-old was found dead in police custody in Albufeira.

News of the man’s tragic death has been met with huge sadness locally.

The man is understood to have died following a tragic incident.
