Finn Valley College in Stranorlar has successfully welcomed its first-year students through a comprehensive transition programme focusing on relationship building and integration into their school community.

This ongoing programme allows them to explore various subjects before choosing their preferred area of interest.

The school also recently celebrated the achievements of its Leaving Certificate students, who have secured excellent results, enabling them to pursue diverse paths in medicine, artificial intelligence, apprenticeships, and childcare, among numerous others.

Committed to holistic education, Finn Valley College emphasises personal growth, talent development, and the importance of a caring, respectful, supportive, and inclusive community.

This year, new subjects like Leaving Certificate Accountancy are integrated into the curriculum, they also look forward to becoming a pilot school for the new Leaving Certificate Drama, Film, and Theatre Studies subject next year.

Their connections with local organisations and newly formed relationships with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and Finn Harps Football Club provide their students with greater opportunities.

Students in Finn Valley College are encouraged to engage in a variety of extra-curricular activities such as sports, arts, robotics and much more. This ensures that the school, whilst focusing on excellence in education, aims to prepare students for future challenges. This helps them build confidence and discover new passions while creating lasting memories and friendships.
