Temperatures are expected to soar early next week, as an Indian Summer is expected across Ireland.

Early next week, Met Éireann are predicting temperatures will reach as high as 23C, after a week of weather around 10C lower.

A system of warmer air is set to arrive later on this weekend, with sunny spells expected in many places.

Things will start getting milder from tomorrow on, with Met Eireann’s forecasts for Saturday showing temperatures between 14 and 17 degrees – even with mostly cloudy conditions.

Sunday sees temperatures rise to between 15 and 19 degrees, with sunny spells and isolated showers expected.

Monday and Tuesday are currently expected to be fine days, with highs on both expected to be between 18 and 21 degrees currently.
