Kilybegs Coast Guard comes to aid of stricken vessel

Killybegs Coast Guard yesterday came to the aid of a stricken boat.

The vessel had lost power two nautical miles off Carrigan Head.

The Killybegs Coast Guard were alerted to the breakdown at 2.24pm by Malin Head Coast Guard.

A spokesperson said “Our boat crew assisted them back to Killybegs Harbour.

“As always, if you see anyone in difficulty on land or sea, call 999/112 and ask for the Coast Guard.”
