A large crowd gathered to Walk in the Park for Parkinsons in Letterkenny yesterday.
It was one of ten total park walks across Ireland this weekend raising funds for Parkinson’s Ireland.
The funds raised in Letterkenny’s park walk will go towards assisting the North West branch of Parkinson’s Ireland, which delivers vital support to those with the condition in Donegal and Sligo.
The walks were also designed to raise awareness of Parkinson’ and the estimated 18,000 people in Ireland that have been diagnosed with the condition.
For more information about Parkinson’s Ireland, or to find out more about the North West Branch, you can visit www.parkinsons.ie or call 1800 359359.
