Management at the Letterkenny Community Centre is urging the public to be aware of an event being falsely advertised online.
News of a ‘Christmas Drive-In Movies’ event is circulating on social media, falsely claiming to be hosted at the Community Centre.
However, no such event is being hosted by the venue.
“Please be advised that this event is not organized by us and is not taking place at our venue,” said a warning from Lewis Toye, the official event planner at the Letterkenny Community Centre.
“Any advertisements or promotions for this event are misleading,” said a Facebook notice.
“If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly through the official channels of the Letterkenny Community Centre. We apologize for any confusion caused by this misinformation.”
