National: Man arrested after €1.4m of gold seized in Garda drugs raid

A man has been arrested after a large seizure of cash, cocaine, and gold in Dublin.

Gardaí say they found gold bars worth €1.4 million in the raid, which took place across a number of business and residential premises in the capital.

Along with the gold, Gardaí say that €460,000 of cash and over €200,000 of cocaine were seized also.

A man aged in his 50s was arrested, and is currently being held in custody in connection with the seizures.
