Teen Donegal jockey rides another winner at Down Royal

Donegal jockey Patrick McGettigan (16) registered his second success yesterday as he guided the Johnny Murtagh-trained Sevensees (9/4) to victory in the Coors Handicap at Down Royal.

A month on from his breakthrough win at the Curragh, the Ballyare teenager was again seen to good effect.

“Second winner and I can’t say enough thank you’s to Johnny and everyone at home for giving me the opportunities they have,” McGettigan told IrishRacing.com
