There is shock and disappointment after a well-known Letterkenny coffee van was damaged in a break-in.

The People’s Coffee Company van in Ballymacool was targetted on Monday night/ early Tuesday morning.

The discovery was made yesterday morning when the lock was found broken.

“We’re very lucky our coffee equipment wasn’t stolen,” said owner Bazza Peoples.

The Peoples coffee co van was broken into sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning this week

Bazza is appealing to the public for any information to help identify those responsible.

“If anyone was driving by or out walking and saw a car or people near the van last night can you DM (message) us or call to the van. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.”

Despite the incident, Bazza said the van will be back open for business today (Wednesday) in its usual location between O’Donnell Park and Ballymacool Town Park.
