The Inver Rowing Club is set to host a recycling event that will help locals properly get rid of their scrap metal.

Everyone is invited to come along to “Scrap Saturday” on the 12th of October, at the Pier in Inver village.

From 11am on, people are invited to drop off any types of scrap metal including old machinery, cars, bicycles, metal frames, fencing wire, steel, copper and aluminium for them to be properly scrapped.

A collection service is also available for anyone unable to drop off their scrap metals themselves.

For more information contact Cathal on 087 163 6353.
