A west Donegal councillor said he is ‘extremely disappointed’ over acts of wanton vandalism in Falcarragh last night.

Cllr Michael McClafferty was commenting after a number of incidents in the town.

“I’m extremely disappointed at the antisocial behavior that occurred in Falcarragh last night that resulted in vandalism and moving of the bottle banks at the chapel car park,” he said.

“Please note that part of the footpath outside the graveyard is currently blocked. Please be careful as the area is full of litter and there may be bits of broken glass etc.”

Cllr McClafferty has reported the incidents to both the Gardai and Donegal County Council.

Gardaí in Milford can be contacted on 074-9153060. The Garda Confidential line may also be reached on 1800 666 111.
