Donegal Gardaí are urging members of the public to report illegal drugs activity to them.

Last week, the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit seized a large quantity of drugs in the Milford District.

As part of Operation Tara, they carried out three searches last Tuesday resulting in the discovery of €7,710 worth of cannabis plants, hallucinogenic mushrooms and amphetamines along with cannabis cultivation paraphernalia.

One woman was arrested in connection with this seizure and has since been released without charge. Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are now appealing for anyone who has information in relation to the sale and supply of controlled substances to contact the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit in confidence on 074 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
