Valuable metal stolen from Letterkenny building site

Gardaí have appealed for information following the theft of a number of items of steel from a building site in Letterkenny.

The incident occurred at a new build at Dromore Lower, sometime between September 1 to September 28. 

The items stolen were 40 16mm metal rebar poles and eight 8 x 4 mesh sheets of steel, A393 mesh. 

“Should anybody come across these items for sale on a second hand basis, we ask them to please alert Gardaí immediately,” Garda Grainne Doherty said.
