Fresh and breezy day in store with sunny spells – Met Éireann

It will be fresh and breezy today with sunny spells and occasional showers. 

The best of the sunshine is expected in the afternoon and early evening. 

Maximum temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in brisk northerly winds.

Overnight, it will be cold and dry in many areas with clear spells but there is the chance of an isolated shower. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in light northwest breezes with a touch of frost possible in sheltered spots.

Tomorrow, most areas will be dry with plenty of sunshine and just a few well-scattered showers. A cold day for October with maximum temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in moderate north to northwest winds.
