Gardaí have advised motorists of a number of road closures that will be in place for this weekend’s Donegal Harvest Rally.
The rally takes place on Saturday, with three stages in use for the day’s running: Trentagh, Carn Hill and Ardrumman.
Road closures along the stage routes will be in place between 9am and 7:30pm on Saturday.
The service for the rally is also located in Letterkenny, and with 160 cars and crews entered motorists have been advised of additional traffic delays in and around the town on Saturday.
“This is a national event which attracts a large number of spectators, a sizeable following of entourage in the form of service crews and enthusiasts,” Gardaí said ahead of the rally.
“Due to the significant amount of traffic expected in the area throughout the day motorists are asked to slow down and leave extra time for their journey.”
“Gardaí & Stewards will be on duty in the area for the duration of the event. Please follow all instructions given by them and remember to keep the race in its place!”
