Gardai investigate spray paint attacks on cars and homes in Donegal villages

Gardai are investigating a number of spray paint attacks on properties in different Donegal villages in recent days.

Cars, vans and homes were targeted in at least two separate incidents.

Gardai have not say if they believe the attacks are connected.

The first incident occurred at Bonnemaine, Bridgend between 7.30pm on Wednesday the 9th of October and 7am on Thursday the 10th of October.

A car at that was parked at an address in that area was spray painted as was the front wall at the same address.

The second attack happened at Castle Park, Newtowncunningham on Sunday the 13th of October between 8.30pm and 10.30pm.

A van that was parked in the driveway of a house in that area was spray painted between those times.

If anybody observed any suspicious activity in the Bridgend are at the time of the first incident or if they can assist with relevant information, they are asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540.

If anybody observed any suspicious activity in the Newtowncunningham area or if they can offer relevant information, we ask them to contact Letterkenny Gardaí on 074-9167100.
