Teenager assaulted at Letterkenny’s Market Square

Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating an assault on a teenager in the Market Square area of the town.

The incident happened at 5.25pm on Friday last, October 11th.

A male in his late teens is believed to have been assaulted at that location by another male who was not known to him. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.

A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who may have observed the incident to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. If anybody was around that area at the time with a dash cam, we ask them to make the footage available to us.”
