Job Title: Quality Technician

Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, which are essential to our commitment to excellence in service delivery. 

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting products at various stages of production and ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. Your keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of quality control processes will be vital in identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating closely with production teams and customers to resolve any issues. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives, establishing metrics and benchmarks to continually enhance our operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance or quality control, along with exceptional critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and variances, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks on production processes to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in training team members on quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality assessments for compliance and traceability.
  • Assist in the auditing process for ISO Standards : ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
  • HND/Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in related industries.
  • Additional leadership or safety training/certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Solid Work and Auto Cad.
  • Experience in the operation of CMM measuring equipment (Probing & Scanning)
