The planned unveiling of a plaque tomorrow on Letterkenny’s Main Street has been cancelled due to weather warnings from Storm Ashley.
A commemorative plaque remembering well-known nurse Peggy Harkin was due to take place at the Lower Main Street, with the event being organised by the Letterkenny Community Heritage Group.
However it has now been cancelled until further notice, as strong winds from Storm Ashley are expected throughout tomorrow.
Organisers have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
