Malin GAA club has launched the search for new Senior and Reserve managers following the departure of reserve manager Shaun Mc Laughlin and his senior counterpart Michael Byrne (pictured).

Any one interested in the roles is asked to please contact secretary.malin.donegal@gaa.ie

In a tribute to the outgoing managers, they said: “Shaun has been involved in our underage academy for many years and has shown incredible dedication in bringing many of our underage players through the ranks and into the world of adult football. His commitment to nurturing young talent and providing them with opportunities to develop their skills has not only boosted their own confidence but also enriched our squad as a whole. Shaun’s passion for the game and his ability to inspire these youngsters demonstrate his invaluable role in our club.

“And last but by no means least, a special word of thanks to Michael for his remarkable hard work and dedication over the past 3 seasons. His leadership was instrumental in guiding our team from Division 2 to Division 1, where we lost out to a last gasp goal in the Division 2 Final…. also who can forget our incredible run in Intermediate Championship last year, which inspired all of our younger members, lifted the hopes and dreams of all our followers, and united the whole community. His unwavering support and motivation have not only elevated our performance on the field but also strengthened our clubs spirit. Thank you, Michael, for your extraordinary efforts and for inspiring us all to strive for greatness! HON THE BLACK N AMBER.”
