Gardaí are appealing for information following the theft of a valuable M-Tec trailer near Letterkenny at the weekend.

The silver trailer was stolen from Dromore (near Dry Arch roundabout) shortly before 00.50am on Saturday the 26 th of October.

The 10 x 5 trailer in question (similar to the one in main pic) has led lights, mesh sides, a double axel and no registration plate. It was removed from the area by a white Transit van with a high roof that had no registration plates attached.

“We appeal to anybody who may have been in the area of the dual carriageway outbound or inbound between 00.30am and 1am with a dash-cam to make the footage available to Gardaí,” said Garda Sean Sweeney.

Dash-cam footage is also sought from anybody who was in the general area of the Dry Arch Roundabout also between those times.

“If anybody has relevant information, or should anybody come across a similar type of trailer for sale on a second hand basis, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 0749167100.”

The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
